In this story, the LA Times pretends to be astonished at the number of "Republicans" going after Sarah Palin, saying things about her they would never say about someone as obviously harmless as Barak Obama or Hillary Clinton.
The Times wonders why so many Republicans hate her; The answer is simple, and anyone who has been as deeply involved in the Republican Party as long as I have knows the answer inherently: She is not one of "us". She doesn't fit the new little elite, establishment, closet-socialist Republican mold of the Bush mafia.

She believes life is sacred with no "exceptions"; that the 2nd Amendment means what it says; That government growth in size and scope is wrong no matter whether Democrats or Republican sponsor the growth.

Obama freely admits he wants to raise taxes, freely tells us his that under energy plan, energy prices "will necessarily skyrocket", and then has the gall to mislead the American people in this story to believe that the "stimulus" is working to help the economy.

In reality, I fear Obama is not lying; the stimulus did exactly what he intended it to do;
It empowered labor unions, enriched ACORN to steal further elections, bankrupted the treasury( or finished the damage started by Bush), put us approximately another $1,000,000,000,000,000 dollars in debt, and prevented our capitalist economy from correcting foolish spending and bloated businesses the way it has always successfully done in the past by letting failure happen when it needs to happen to prevent failure of the entire system, as government interference has now produced.
More of the same unconstitutional government meddling that produced the near collapse of our entire economy last year will only produce more collapse; it may falsely avert it for mere months, but it will always make the actual collapse far worse than it could have been when it actually happens, and it will.

When they would attempt to take over a country, what was the first action they always took?
They would send in their front people to cause economic disaster and misery, thereby making the populous view anything as being better than the circumstances under which they were currently residing.

With the announcement that she is leaving office, Sarah Palin has generated yet another firestorm of verbal vomit from political panderers in both parties and the media who are hoping, slobbering, yes, nearly dying to nail her to the wall as the latest republican to have a scandal.
While I am certainly in no position to advertise any facts other than what is publicly known, I do have the benefit of a long time in the political arena watching conservatives getting destroyed for obvious political gain, whether they are guilty or not.

All the drooling over a potential chance to damn Palin to the ash heap of political history is evidence of who the liberals in both parties really fear in 2012.
They believe Gingrich is touchable due to past lust affairs on his own life, and they may be right.
Democrats can get away with fooling around, and Republicans cannot; nor should they be able to.

While I despise the Democrat double standard, I cannot and will not defend the Mark Sanford types who are ruining the Republican party along with help from the spineless, unprincipled leadership.
That being said, it would be nice if extramarital affairs committed by Democrats were talked about and condemned to the same extent Republicans are, but that will never happen, so we may as well just deal with it, and stop screwing around as a party.

But I digress;
Palin, though somewhat inexperienced, is a rare bright spot in our party, and they want to get rid of her ASAP!
She reminds everyone too much of Ronald Reagan, providing a stark contrast between the modern day political nuance prevalent in both parties, designed to keep politicians from ever having to take a stand, accomplish anything, or live inside any boundaries.

I will defend her against her obviously politically motivated critics until the day they can prove she has done anything wrong.
Will I support her for President?
The jury is still out on that one, but other than her or Newt, I see no one else remotely suitable to defend freedom, and that is the number one priority for any president, or at least should be.

He already "fired" the CEO of a private corporation, took over the financial system, or the part that Bush missed when he opened the floodgates, took over GM, all of which is absolutely unconstitutional, but that did not stop him.
Where is the outrage from the Republican minority?
Why are they not raising cain over the theft of American money, private ownership, property rights, and generational theft?
How long are we going to allow our own freely elected representatives( in most cases) to ignore our directions and continue stealing our freedom and the future of our children and grandchildren?
We have lost an immense amount of freedom in the last year that prior to that would have been imcomprehensible to the average American.
Communist China now has a far more capitalistic enterprise system than we do, and even Vladimir Putin is surpised at how quietly the American people are going into slavery.

The nation that only 25 years ago elected Ronald Reagan in a landslide has now mirrored Karl Marx far more than Ronald Reagan.
Just a few decades ago, Barak Obama would be tried for treason for the policies he openly advocates, and for the unconstitutional powers he has granted to his "czars" of fine print, and other ridiculous postitions he has created and given more power than even cabinet postitions.
He does not have the constitutional authority to do so, but why would that stop a president who does not have the constitutional authority to even serve as president in the first place?

He knows full well that the Republican minority has neither the skills, nor the will, nor the principles to stand strong against the theft of our freedom, and he knows he can do irreversible damage in four years if that is all he gets.
He is not just a lovable, affable, goofy liberal; He, his handlers, and the Democrat majority are 1960's liberals, diabolically determined to institute a Marxist utopia in America with them at the top of the totem pole, to destroy capitalism and morality, and with it the United States of America.

It is time to stand up and take responsibility for the preservation of our freedom and that of our children.
We can no longer rely on the Republican party, having been hi-jacked by liberals cloaked fraudulently as moderates, to even care, much less act to help us, so we must do it ourselves.
We must begin thinking like hunted foxes instead of like whipped puppies.

Our government is hell-bent on making us literal slaves of the government, on denying the sovereign states their sovereign rights, and making us all wards of the state.
What will it take to wake us up?
Will it be the removal of your kids from your home because you are on the DHS(Department of Homeland Security) watchlist for potential terrorists?

The latest report from the DHS lists third party supporters as dangers to society, as well as Christians and those with an anti-government bent!
I would suggest that the real danger to society is the government itself, not those of us who oppose government control of our lives.
I recommend we all prepare for the time that has now become a real possiblity that the federal government will attempt a literal takeover of private property, family rights, and the states.

George Washington warned us about this when said that the right to keep and bear arms was the last line of defense between the citizens and overreaching government.
If you don't have firearms and ammo, get them and guard them with your life.
God willing, you mayl never have to use them in defense of your freedom, but if you take it for granted you may not get the chance to do anything more than regret your inaction.

Another option we need to closely examine is secession;
Yes, that's what I said.
The 10th amendment to the US Constitution specifically affirms that the only power belonging to the federal government is that power bestowed upon it by the Constitution.
The fed's therefore have no right or authority to prevent states from seceding from the union.
Even the Chief Justice of the US said shortly after the Civil War ended that the South had every constitutional right secede.

There is no value in a union in and of itself; There must be an underlying purpose to said union to give it legitimacy.
The federal government is using the the power granted to it by the States to remove the power of the states, and thereby remove our option to defend ourselves by secession if need should ever dictate.

In the case of the US, the original purpose of a union was to unify against exactly the same type of governmental tyranny we see played out today before our very eyes.
The only way to end that tyranny was to demand freedom and fight for it as need dictated.
Patrick Henry was so afraid of federal power-grabs that he was even against the concept of a national president and a national military, and he said as much when giving a speech with regard to the ratification of the US Constitution in the Virginia legislature.
He opined that if a future president decided to make himself king for all practical purposes, and used a federal military to enforce his desire, it would be impossible to stop him.

Henry saw the potential for what I believe today is a very real threat from the imposter and Marxist Supreme Ruler wanna-be in the White House today.
In a political climate where our legislators do not even respond to millions of phone calls and emails from constituents regarding the theft of our freedom, and where our opinion matters nothing to them, what further recourse do we have for the redress of grievances?

I am in favor of giving it until the congressional elections of 2010 to see if we can elect some real conservative patriots to office who will undo the damage done by the Bush and Obama mafia's, and preserve this union.
If we do not succeed in doing so at that point, it will time for some much bolder action.
Folks, if we are not willing to even get involved in the political process and sacrifice some time, energy, and financial resources to preserve our quickly dwindling freedom, than is it likely that any other form of preservation can or will be successful?

Our Founders knew that any people, once free, who give up that freedom can never regain it without bloodshed.
I think it would be a terrible waste of the blood of patriots gone before us to let things get to that point again, but if we do not act quickly we will be there wondering how things got to that point.

Ladies and Gentlemen, do not make the mistake of thinking by default that it cannot happen here.
Six short years after Hitler was freely elected in Germany he seized complete power and became the county's dictator........using the military to do so. Millions of people died before it was righted and an entire race was nearly eradicated.
Patrick Henry saw it coming, and we should too.
We can stick our heads deeply in the sand, continue thinking that history began the day we were born, and that things have always been as they are, and will always stay that way;

Or, we can face the stark reality of a government that cares nothing about freedom, wants nothing more than to subjugate us to their desires for power and money, that desires to remove our independence, trading it for dependence on government a'la Europe...................and do something about it!!
Don't wait for someone else to lead!!!
Get in there and figure out specifically what you should do in your own little area of influence and get to it.

Start letter writing campaigns to elected officials; They may not listen, but you can use their inaction against them in their next election.
Put them on record by expressing your opinion to them and broadcasting their response.
Make it too expensive for them cross freedom-loving patriots all across the fruited plain, and let's take our country and our states back!
