Republicans Open Fire on Sarah Palin

In this story, the LA Times pretends to be astonished at the number of "Republicans" going after Sarah Palin, saying things about her they would never say about someone as obviously harmless as Barak Obama or Hillary Clinton.
The Times wonders why so many Republicans hate her; The answer is simple, and anyone who has been as deeply involved in the Republican Party as long as I have knows the answer inherently: She is not one of "us". She doesn't fit the new little elite, establishment, closet-socialist Republican mold of the Bush mafia.

She believes life is sacred with no "exceptions"; that the 2nd Amendment means what it says; That government growth in size and scope is wrong no matter whether Democrats or Republican sponsor the growth.
She does not speak the meaningless lingo of we inside-the-beltway elites who assisted George Bush in the destruction of the Constitution, and along with it, Reagan's Republican party.

Worse yet, she took on the party powerful in Alaska and beat us; that is a no-no of the first degree.
Someone forgot to tell her that she is to take orders, get in line, and some Republican consultant will let her know when it is alright to offer an opinion and what that opinion should be;
She made John McCain look like the liberal loser that we insiders will not admit that he is, mostly because we are all losers too, and do not want to be made to look like ourselves publicly.
She drew crowds rivaling and sometimes surpassing Obama's when our Anointed One embarrassed himself on a regular basis.

She talks with that disgusting, embarrassing, good-old gal slang, reminding us of one those despicable hicks in the South.....she even hunts...... blaaagghhh!!
People like Mike Murphy, our brilliant strategist quoted in the Times story should be heeded; after all, their success rate is astonishing........they almost never win anything, but they sure sound elite doing it.
I mean, Peggy Noonan is the model; her endorsement of Obama as a former Reagan speechwriter was bold and courageous, unlike the quitter and crook from Alaska.

Now Palin is out there free as bird to travel and we are terrified that she might make a re-emergence onto the national scene and upstage our next anointed, coronated, closet-socialist, elite candidate( Romney would be wonderful!) to be spanked by Obama........oops, excuse the disrespect; President Obama
Our apologies for the verbal slip, Mr. President.........can we help you pass some unconstitutional legislation to make it up you?
BTW, this game we are playing with Sotomayor, it really is nothing more than placating our conservative Christian base, of whom we are greatly ashamed and embarrassed, but cannot win without; we don't really plan to make a heartfelt attempt to stop her nomination........we hope you understand, Sir, we have to do this.

But anyway, back to Palin; We must destroy her before she gains traction as a potential presidential nominee.
We cannot allow this travesty to occur.........what was John THINKING??!!!
This woman actually believes all this conservative Christian crap that we all spout at election time, but bury as deeply as possible the rest of the year.
We have to bury her along with it now.........can't let her ruin us.
After all, she will make us lose all the headway we've made as party for the last four years.
We've lost the White House, the majority of governorships, most of the statehouses, the US House and Senate, and failed to use our muscle to pass Bush' decent judicial nominees.
Palin could truly reverse all this success we've masterminded and we cannot let that happen.

To be debating a brilliant linguist like Joe Biden........embarrassing!!

I mean, when we told John not to talk about Jeremiah Wright, or ACORN, or Bill Ayers, he listened to us; She didn't, and look where that got us........Newt Gingrich as the leading Republican voice out there; Geez..........embarrassing!!!!

We understand we have to have our token conservatives around, but not one that really believes it and is willing to lead!
Geez, the last time we had that was Reagan and he was embarrassing.
Since then we have stacked the party from top to bottom, in that sequence, with Bush moderates who stand for nothing and fall for anything............elites, who will make sure Reagan never happens to us again.

If anything would convince me that she IS ready for movement- conservative leadership, it is the opposition to her from the party's elite.
