Read this story and then someone please tell me why Republicans(when in power) ever would even consider reaching out the hand of friendship to these Communist thugs formerly known as Democrats.

When a Democrat says "bi-partisan", it always means for the Republicans to sit down, shut up, go away, or better yet, die and go straight to hell.

Actually what the Democrats are doing isn't even remotely as bad as the Republicans behaved when they were in power. Read this article so you will have some history and some context. Perhaps then you will understand why the Republican Party is out of power for the foreseeable future.
